  • Guidance about policies and programmes available to investors

Policy Incentives

  • Capital investment subsidy of 25% of the project cost for both, new as well as existing enterprises undertaking expansion/modernization/diversification
  • For women entrepreneurs or enterprises belonging to SC/ST entrepreneurs, a subsidy of 33% of the project cost is available
  • Food testing laboratories being set up in Public Private Partnership(PPP) mode at locations other than Cuttack, Behrampur, and Bolangir will be eligible to capital subsidy of 50%of the capital investment
  • For modernization of Meat shop Capital Investment Subsidy would be 35% for general areas and 50% for industrially backward districts.
  • Back ended interest subsidy of five per cent on working capital loans will be offered for first five years from commencement of operations
  • Government will reimburse up to 50 per cent of the cost of certification
    • One time capital grant of 50% of the cost (up to INR 10 Million) of creation of infrastructure facilities for running a recognized Degree / Diploma Course in Food Processing Technology, will be provided to a recognized University/Institution in the State
  • Assistance of 50% of the cost of Machinery and Technical Civil work will be given to entrepreneurs. In Integrated Tribal Development Project  (ITDP) areas, this assistance will be 75%
  • Financial assistance will be provided in the form of credit-linked back ended subsidy of 35% of the cost of standalone New Reefer Vehicle(s) / Mobile Pre-Cooling Van(s)
